Getting Started
Task
You will stepping into the role of the endangered animals of Northwestern Oregon, you will be creating a slideshow to present information about your animal and sharing it with the class. You will then identify ways in which your habitat or food sources may be limited and going up with ways to counter them. These will be presented in a two to three minute video and shared at the final council meeting.
Process
-
Start by finding your partner and opening the folder assigned to you in your google drive
-
Open the document called Introduction to see which animal you are going to be
-
Create a google slides presentation on the profile of yourselves, and save it in your team folder (this is a good example of the type of information to include)
-
After creating this, collaborate with your partner to create some ideas about what might limit your habitat or food sources
-
After we all finish our profiles, we will regroup and learn about the different endangered species that we embodied
-
As a wrap-up activity, we will discuss what we learned and how our actions as individuals, a class, a school and a community may impact these species
